About Erasmus+
Erasmus+ is the European Union programme for education, training, youth and sport. It runs for seven years, from 2014 to 2020, with organisations invited to apply for funding each year to undertake creative and worthwhile activities.
Erasmus+ aims to modernise education, training and youth work across Europe. It is open to education, training, youth and sport organisations across all sectors of lifelong learning, including school education, further and higher education, adult education and the youth sector. It offers exciting opportunities for participants to study, work, volunteer, teach and train abroad in Europe.
The actions of the Erasmus + programme are divided into decentralised actions and centralised actions.
The decentralised actions are managed in each programme country by National Agencies that are appointed by their national authorities. In Greece State Scholarships Foundation (IKY) bears the responsibility of administration, co-ordination, implementation and dissemination of European Union Programmes for Education.
Ergastiriako Kentro Kastorias has implemented many projects already under Key Action 1: Mobility Learning Mobility of Individuals and participates in a Key Action 2: Cooperation Among Organisations and Institutions project.
Our next projects will be implemented within the framework of the recently acquired Erasmus+ Αccreditation!
